Brawn commences recruitment drive for rapid expansion

Brawn InGym is the newest digital experience for lifters within a gym and training environment. Creating strong connections through easy-to use AI-driven gym floor technology.

With significant investment having been received, the management team have commenced a rapid recruitment drive to aid the exponential growth.

Brawn is now primed for scale and in the first month, following the official launch of the product into the fitness market, having secured over 50 new clubs. Including some of London’s leading boutiques and advanced discussions already happening with large operators both in the private and public sector.

The appointment of Gemma Bonnett-Kolakowska the Managing Director of Bonska Consultancy, is an example of some of the big hitters that have been recruited to drive the growth. Gemma has been in the industry as a marketing expert for over 20 years having formally been the Global Marketing Director at Myzone and Strategic Marketing Director EMEA for Matrix. In 2019 Bonska Consultancy launched and now works for a number of high profile brands within the fitness industry. Gemma says “I was approached by Sohail and after finding out more about Brawn, it was a natural fit for Bonska to be involved. It is not very often you see a product in action and can immediately see the benefits. The product fills a gap, like no other product on the market, the tech behind the product, the team involved and the pure passion that they have is inspiring and infectious. Usually there is a need to prove a product and it can take years to gain traction. Brawn is extremely unique to this and as soon as operators see it in action, they can see the benefits, it’s a no brainer offering – it’s a “Why wouldn’t I have this product, rather than a why should I!”.”

Sohail Rashid, Founder says “The recruitment of Gemma to the team at Brawn, was obvious. Everyone we spoke to about how we launch Brawn and get it seen and heard mentioned Gemma from Bonska Consultancy. Gemma’s experience having been both a supplier and an operator in marketing was unique in itself, her network and knowledge of the industry made this an easy decision. This appointment is part of our plan to now roll Brawn nationally and also get closer to the gym community.”
